Who we are

The Journal is published by Valusis, a luxury watch brand. Because we sell watches, we tell you whenever an article mentions our own products, and our general guides are written to be useful whatever brand you choose.

How we research

• We base our guides on hands-on experience with mechanical watches and on reliable sources, such as manufacturer documentation and watchmaking references.
• We link to our sources for specific factual claims.
• We don't publish invented statistics, quotes or reviews.

Updates and corrections

Every article shows when it was published and when it was last updated. We update articles when information changes and fix errors as soon as we confirm them. To report an error, contact us.
